Fyrinnae Arcane Magic, Part 2

Fyrinnae describes its Arcane Magic shadows as specialized colors with a highlight that changes hue depending on how the light hits it.  These shades required tight angles to see the full effect of the color change.  Sorry if some of the pictures look odd.

The swatches are over Pixy Epoxy.

Italicized comments are Fyrinnae’s descriptions taken from their website, the rest are my own.

1 – Faerie Glamour Violet base with aqua shimmer that changes to pink. This shade wins the award for the prettiest and most difficult shade.  You can’t rush this color.  I haven’t tried this color on top of the NARS primer.  The base is a matte purple, so with Pixy Epoxy, the shade is okay.  Over a dark paint pot, the shade turns into a matte purple mess.
2 – Futuristic Glamrock Light sky blue with coordinating hues and turns to an icy pink.
3 – Electric Stardust Bright mint green which changes from aqua to pale silvery blue.
4 – Dragonmagic Deep charcoal with shimmer that changes from icy blue to pale green to almost gold. Love this shade.  I often wear it with Electric Stardust because the shades and color shifts are in the same family.  I don’t see any of the colors that Fyrinnae uses to describe this shade.  I see an almost emerald green with teal shimmer that shifts from blue to a lovely purple.  Amazing.
5 – Madam & Eve’s “Perhaps our most striking shade yet.”  Away from the light, the shade appears to be vivid sparkling teal.  Moved closer to the light, the shade turns to violet then gleaming magenta.
6 – Dark Fantasy Intense grass green shimmer on a charcoal base, which changes to a golden peach to deep orange-coral.“  Golden peach to deep orange-coral?”  I don’t see that.  The color shift is very dramatic though.  I see a beautiful jewel green with light green shimmer that changes to a reddish brown with silvery blue sparkle.
7 – Archmage Dark gray blue with silver, pink and green sparkle.  The shade changes to pretty medium pink.  Unfortunately, this shade has been discontinued.

Fyrinnae Dualcolors, Part 1

Fyrinnae describes its Dualcolor shadows as shades that have more than one distinctive hue, often a highlight contrast shimmer over a deeper color.  (Not a color-changing shadow.)

The swatches are over Pixy Epoxy.

1 – Catrina Cabaret Deep cool teal with a pink-purple highlight and sparkle.
2 – Wicked Deep, dark purple with turquoise shimmer.
3 – Javan Rhino Vibrant turquoise with lavender-pink highlight.
4 – Digital Faerie Sky blue with green shimmer.
5 – Anemone Sea foam green with pale gold shimmer.
6 – Danse Macabre Bright yellow green with gold highlight that looks very close to chartreuse green.
7 – Dressed To Kill Gilded green with flashes of gold and green sparkle. I also see flashes of blue sparkle.
8 – Aztec Gold Coppery gold over green base. The shade is a rich bright gold over an olive green base.

1 – Rapunzel Had Extensions Stunning golden peach-pink with a vibrant gleaming pale gold.Prettypink with intense gold shimmer in the jar.  The pink completely disappears on my skin and only the gold comes through.  You see a little bit of the pink on top of Pixy Epoxy, but on a regular primer… no pink.
2 – Daemon’s Tail Reddish purple with gold and purple shimmer.  This shade is a dupe of Mac’s Trax.
3 – Mephisto Deep royal blue with a vibrant metallic red sheen (best over primer not Pixy Epoxy).Pretty blue base with red sheen.
4 – Sugar Skulls Vibrant deep pink (leaning warm) with a glimmering orange (not gold).I would’ve said this is a pretty pink with yellow gold shimmer.  I don’t see the orange, but Fyrinnae knows the formula better than me.  I also don’t see dualcolor quality in this shade.  Still pretty.
5 – The Fancy Lad Bright pink with silver and blue sparkle.
6 – Darling Misfit Deep Magenta-pink with a contrasting aqua highlight.
7 – Herbivore Light purple with a green highlight. One of my favorites.  The swatch is on a flat part of my arm so the green doesn’t shine through as well as it does on the round surface of my eyelid.  On the eye, you can clearly see the green and purple.  This shade will make people think you’re a blending queen.
8 – Meerkat Medium purple with gold shimmer.
