Here is another look using another Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color.  I picked several up on sale not too long ago.  I used a colored base underneath this eye color for the sake of the photo.  The color shows up perfectly and lasts all day without a colored base or a shadow sitting on top.   My first post using this cream color (Shiseido’s Sable) has more detail on the product itself, but is creamy, pigmented and applies better with your finger or a synthetic brush.

I blended my favorite Nars primer with my finger.  I used a Sigma flat shader brush to apply the mid-toned red purple paint pot up to my crease.  (I kind of regret using this paint pot; one too many cream layers on my eye isn’t a good thing.)  I used a skin tone shade and a fluffy brush to blend out the edges.  Using a synthetic Sigma brush, I applied Purple Dawn on my lid up to my crease and ran it along my lower lash line.  Using a Louise Young LY14, I blended a dark raspberry color (MUFE #58) into my crease.  This shade is intensely pigmented so I diffused the color on the back of my hand.

I chose a pale iridescent purple for the inner corner.  For the outer corner I chose a dark blue by Le Metier de Beaute.  It isn’t my favorite shade by LMdB.  In the pan, the shade has lovely, subtle shimmer that gets completely lost when applied.  There is large amount of fall out, but with such a dark shade, fallout is more noticeable.   I applied Midnight Sky with a Mac 239 at an angle below the crease, but blended it up just past the crease.  I used a dark blue paint pot and a Mac 263 to line my upper and lower lash line.
