Chanel’s fall 2016 collection includes two new limited edition Illusion D’Ombre eyeshadows. I grabbed one of them, Rouge Brule. In the pot, it is a gorgeous, deep burnt red-orange that is perfect for fall. It applies lighter than it looks in the pot as it comes across as more red-copper. Unfortunately, the swatch photo makes the shade appear pinker. The shade performs well, but can be tricky to use like the typical lllusion D’Ombre shadows. Since the product is a cream/powder hybrid, it moves around when getting the product on the brush. It is easier to get the product on my lid using my finger, but I prefer the control of the brush. I found the shade easy to blend out before it sets and I didn’t experience any fading. You get 4g of product for $36.
