Hey lovers of all things pretty. Sugarpill has finally come out with new pressed shadows. The shadows in the new Heart Breaker quad are just as bright and pigmented as all of Sugarpill’s shadows. It retails for $34, but can be purchased individually for $12 (0.14 oz). The pans are magnetized and can easily be taken out of the cardboard casing and into your own palette. The colors work well together; however, all but one shade is easily dupable. What isn’t easily duped though is the quality and softness of the product. Here are swatches.
Acidberry is a bright lime green with a slight sheen. Inglot #477 is similar in color and pigmentation, but it has gold flecks.
Velocity is described as a matte royal blue, but it isn’t that matte to me. It is very similar to Makeup Forever #159, which is just as soft and pigmented, but matte.
2AM is a reddened purple with sheen. INGLOT #392 is close, but lighter and matte. Mac’s Vibrant Grape is similar, but lacks in pigmentation. Urban Decay’s late great Purple Haze is lighter and matte.
Mochi is described as a mint, seafoam green. It has a slight sheen. It is the most original shade of the quad. It isn’t a color you often see, especially one this pigmented. The only shade I have that is close is Fyrinnae’s Sea Otter, which is discontinued.
