This is a simple look using Nars’ Paramaribo. Paramaribo is a new limited edition eye shadow duo for its spring collection. The shades have a nice olive undertone, which caught my eye. The lighter shade is buttery soft and very pigmented. The dark shade isn’t as soft, but the pigmentation is good. Nars’ duos retail for $33 and you get 0.14oz of product. This duo can be purchased at NarsCosmetics.com now and at Nars counters and Sephora stores in February. Arm swatches can be found here (10 & 11).

I smoothed on my primer with my finger and the paint pot with a synthetic fluffy brush. Using a fluffy brush and a skin tone shade, I blended the edges of the paint pot. I also ran this color over my brow bone. With a Louise Young LY14, I blended Cork into my crease. I picked up a little of the Make Up Forever shade (red clay color) onto the tip of the LY14 brush and diffused the color using the back of my hand. I lightly dusted this color into the crease and above Cork.
With a flat shader brush, I applied the lighter shade of the duo to the center of my lid. Using the other side of the brush, I patted on the darker shade to the inner and outer corners, blending it into the lighter shade. I blended the edges out using a clean fluffy brush. Using a pencil brush, I picked up Legendary Black and a little of Blackout and formed the Outer V and blended the color over. I also ran the brush through my lower lash line without picking up anymore product.
I smudged Mac’s Black Line pencil (black with gold flecks) through my lower lash line using the same pencil brush. (This pencil was limited edition, but has been released several times and is coming back out in February. Mac’s Pearlglides are great pencils; soft and lasts all day.)
As always….flawless. Did you a work a neutral lip with this one?
Thanks! A neutral lip with a peach blush. Keeping the rest of the face neutral works best because the lighter shade of the duo almost has a metallic sheen. Thanks for your comment.
