Amber Lights is one of my favorite Mac eye shadows. It is a lovely shade for warm brown skin tones and can be paired with practically any dark shade. In this look, I’ve paired it with a pretty dark blue. The matte brown shades used in this look mutes the blue. To brighten this look, the dark brown can be skipped.

ACHIEVE THIS LOOK
After applying a thin layer of the primer and paint pot, I put Tete-A-Tint on my brow bone. (Tete-A-Tint is my favorite shade to blend out my crease and fade into my brow highlight. Mac describes it as a caramel brown. It does lean orange, which is what I like about it. If orange doesn’t look good on you, you can use a face powder). My brow highlight (not shown in the above picture, but shown in earlier posts) is applied with a short, stiff shader brush.
I apply Swiss Chocolate to my crease with a stiff dome brush. I dipped by brush in Mac Sable as well. The crease and outer corner deepened using Handwritten.
Amber Lights was applied with a shader brush on the inner two thirds of my lid. Deep Truth was applied to the outer third of my lid using the other side of the same shader brush and lightly blended into Amber Lights. Deep Truth is also lightly applied into the crease using the edge of the brush. Using the same stiff dome brush (wiped clean) I blend out the two lid colors into the crease. Doing this wipes away some of the blue, so I reapplied Deep Truth to the outer corner.
