How dare they make me work on New Year’s Eve!! Since this happens to be Friday and New Year’s Eve, I decided to go a little bit more sparkly than I normally would. The pictures don’t show all of Fyrinnae’s Archmage’s sparking beauty.

Purple Haze was applied to my crease with a dome blending brush. This purple has a red undertone and is similar to MAC’s Vibrant Grape. I deepened Purple Haze with MAC’s Naval using a pencil brush to define the outer V. Archmage was put all over the lid with Platinum applied to the inner corner. I couldn’t make up my mind what eyeliner I wanted to use this morning (while finishing my makeup on the train), so I used both. The colors are described below.
Archmage changes from a sparkly medium green to dark blue depending on how light hits it. Hopefully you can see that in the pictures. Unfortunately, this shade is discontinued. Fyrinnae has a similar color called Warrior-Mage; however, Warrior-Mage has more silver in its base.
Platimum is a lovely shade as well. Fyrinnae describes it as not quite silver, but not quite gold, which is actually true. It looks more yellow in the pictures, but when it is applied, more of the silver comes out. This shade is about as close to silver as I can get since I have a warm undertone.
I only own a few Urban Decay shadows (all matte). They have a wonderful texture, much better than most Mac matte shadows, but the cost of it is ridiculous per gram. It is the same size as a Mac shadow, but cost $17. I was able to purchase the few shades I own from a Hautelook sale for $5!
Oil Slick Eyeliner is a glittery black, which I hardly ever use. Binge is a pretty dark blue. These colors were part of a holiday gift set of mini liners. It’s worth checking out if you want to try out colored eyeliner, but don’t want to pay the price of a full.
